Upward Sports Ministry

This ministry is a national program that helps church leaders leverage the power of sports (basketball and cheerleading) to connect with families in our community.  The mission is promoting the discovery of Jesus through sports and good sportsmanship!  This ministry requires many volunteers and we encourage the involvement of the community to join in this opportunity to serve as a coach, referee, concession helper, devotion leader, and most importantly, prayer partner as we share the love behind the ministry.  Jesus Christ.

Important Dates for 2026:
First Practice - Mon, Jan. 5 
First Game - Sat, Jan. 10
Last Game - Sat, Feb. 28
Upward Celebration - Sunday,  March 1st
