Here at Cabot Church we embrace the many ways we can experience prayer time with God.  Therefore, more than one way you may get involved is offered.  Our Prayer Ministry offers opportunities to draw closer to God individually and as a body of believers where as our Prayer Shawl Ministry creates a loving gift to serve as an outreach to others.  Learn more below.

Prayer Ministry
Prayer is an important component in our Christian life. Therefore, Cabot Church has a specific outreach in the life of our church and community to focus on the prayer needs of each individual and events that occur in each of our lives. Our prayer chapel is located on the West side of the building (Brose Road entrance). It is just a few steps up from our library.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
The members of this ministry knit or crochet prayer shawls which are prayed over then given to shut-ins, those who are hospitalized, and people our mission team serves.  The ministry also crochets prayer squares which are a smaller, more portable version of a prayer shawl.  Prayer squares may be kept with you at all times in your pocket, purse, or backpack.  They can be a reminder to stop and pray for someone or some situation.  Thirdly, blankets are made for our confirmand youth, who are new members to our church.  Anyone interested in learning to knit or crochet is also welcome.
